DC Robotics was incorporated as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit in 2012 to support all FIRST robotics teams and events within Washington, D.C.  

FIRST in the National Capital Region benefits local students, teachers, corporations, and the community partners across District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia to coordinate programs and sponsors.This collaboration concept recognizes the unique way the states and the District of Columbia come together to cooperate, pool assets, and share infrastructure so that students can attend more activities, events, and increase their long-term career opportunities.
